Born in Brooklyn, NY on September 29, 1908, he was the son of the late Charles M. Hargis and Kathryn C. MacMurray.

Mr. Hargis was employed by the C.V. Hill Company in Trenton, NJ.

He was survived by his wife, Kathryn (Kennedy) Hargis, of Sand Brook, NJ.

Interment in Sand Brook Cemetery, Britton Road, Stockton, NJ.
