Born in Bornholm, Denmark on May 21, 1916, he was the son of the late Niels Petersen and Gerda Albrechtsen. He worked as a gardener at the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ. He was a veteran of the Danish Army. The burial was private.
