Born in Hunterdon County, NJ on March 10, 1884, he was the son of the late William Eick and Mary Amerman.

He was formerly employed as the superintendent of the Flemington Water Company.

Mr. Eick was survived by his wife, Helen (Strouse) Eick.

Interment in Amwell Ridge Cemetery, Ringoes, NJ.
