Herbert R. Anderson, Sr., age 88 years, of Raritan Township, NJ died on December 19, 1979, in Raritan Township, NJ.
Born in Brooklyn, NY on November 19, 1891, he was the son of the late William and Alice (Howley) Anderson.
Mr. Anderson was a United States Navy veteran of World War I. He then became an insurance executive for the Preferred Insurance Company before retirement.
He was predeceased by his wife, Marguerite (Doyle) Anderson, who died in 1977.
Interment was in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Toms River, NJ.
