Helen Inez Vassalluzzo

Helen Inez Vassalluzzo, age 83 years, of Raritan Township, NJ died on Thursday, December 6, 2018 in Independence Manor, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Trenton, NJ, May 4, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Helen Brink Gillmer. Helen had resided most of her life in Philadelphia, PA.

A retired Pharmacist with Rite-Aid, Helen loved to travel, and enjoyed going to New York City and Atlantic City. She loved photography, animals, art, museums, and shopping. Always caring and kind, she had a positive spirit that helped people achieve their goals. A very generous and supportive person, Helen was always sending cards and gifts to those that knew her.

She was predeceased by two sisters, Roberta Smith and Margaret Miller; Surviving are her two daughters, Julia Gold (William Rudeau) of Raritan Township, NJ, and Maria Mondress (David Mondress) of Portland, OR; her three granddaughters, Dina Gold, Charlotte Mondress, and Nathalie Mondress; and a brother, Robert Gillmer, of Manchester, VT.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at 7 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be private. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 6-7 PM in the funeral home.
