Harvey W. Mathis, age 86 years, of Wellsboro, PA, died on December 30, 2000 at the Water’s Edge Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, 512 Union St, Trenton, NJ. Born in Pleasantville, NJ on January 22, 1914, he was the son of the late George Mathis and Rena (Dixon) Mathis. He worked as a lab technician for the DuPont Corporation. Harvey was predeceased by his wife, Geennie Mae Murphy, who passed away in 1997. The burial was private.
