Born in Nova Scotia circa 1898, he was the son of the late Howard Goldsmith.

Mr. Goldsmith was a mathematics teacher at North Hunterdon Regional High School.

He was survived by his wife, Barbara (Allen) Goldsmith, and their children.

Interment in Glen Valley Cemetery, Barre, Worcester County, MA.
