Harold Richard Tippett

Harold Richard Tippett, age 87 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died Thursday, October 21, 2004 in the Hunterdon Care Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Keyport, NJ, March 18, 1917, son of the late Harold and Pauline Aumeck Tippett, he had formerly resided in Neshanic, NJ most of his life.

He was formerly a car salesman with Nassau-Conover, Princeton, NJ and later was employed at Hillsborough Hardware, Hillsborough, NJ. Mr. Tippett was a U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II.

Surviving are four sons, Harold, Jr. of Malibu, CA, Thomas of Reaville, NJ, P.A. of Lumberville, PA and Matthew of Frenchtown, NJ; one grandchild and one sister, Jane Wade of Bellingham, WA.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, October 28, 2004 at 7 p.m. in St. Philip's Chapel, New Hope, PA. Interment will be private.
