Born in Ringoes, NJ on July 8, 1867, she was the daughter of the late Elizabeth Young Higgins.

She was predeceased by her husband, Jacob Schenck Higgins, who died in 1935.

Interment in Prospect Hill Cemetery, 69 Capner Street, Flemington, NJ.
