Born in Jersey City, NJ on January 31, 1904, she was the daughter of the late Edward A. Veit and Jesse Wieting.

She was the retired secretary for the Hunterdon County Surrogate's Office.

Gladys was predeceased by her husband, Earl K. Dalley, who died in 1958.

Interment was in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Capner Street, Flemington, NJ.
