Born in Neshanic, NJ on August 18, 1902, she was the daughter of the late William Wadsworth and Rebecca Caroline Sutphin. She was formerly employed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in New York City, NY. Gertrude was predeceased by her husbands, Charles Gooden and George Martin. Interment in Presbyterian Cemetery, Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
