Born in Three Bridges, NJ on December 17, 1880, he was the son of the late David C. Dilts and Ann Schomp.

Mr. Dilts was a retired farmer.

He was survived by his wife, Elizabeth (Groff) Dilts.

Interment in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Capner Street, Flemington, NJ.
