Foster Crouse

Foster Crouse, age 86 years, of Union Township, Hunterdon County, NJ, died on Saturday, August 21, 2004 in the Country Arch Care Center, where he had resided since 2001. Born August 20, 1918, in Carpentersville, NJ, son of the late Forest and Dorothy Pierson Crouse, he resided in the Croton Section of Raritan Township, NJ for many years. He was a self-employed farmer. Surviving are his wife, Bertha Werkheiser Crouse of Raritan Township, NJ; a daughter, Connie Emmons of Holland Township, NJ; two sons, Dale Crouse of Holland Township, NJ and Wayne Crouse, of Raritan Township, NJ; a sister, Jane Vanderbilt of Phillipsburg, NJ; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 10 am in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in Bloomsbury Cemetery, Bloomsbury, NJ.
