Fannie P. Koblis, age 87 years, of Flemington Borough, NJ, died on Saturday, November 20, 2004 at the Hunterdon Care Center, Raritan Township, NJ.
Born June 9, 1917 in Flemington Borough, NJ to the late Michael and Louise Bernardino Sherry, she was a lifelong resident of Flemington.
A homemaker and former seamstress with Flemington Fur Company, Flemington, NJ, Mrs. Koblis was a devout member of St. Magdalen Church, Flemington, NJ and also a member of its Rosary Altar Society.
A loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, Mrs. Koblis was predeceased by her husband Stanley L. in 1994. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Florence and Thomas E. Quackenbush of Neshanic Station, NJ; two grandchildren, Thomas J. and Heather M., both of Neshanic Station, NJ; a sister, Josephine Manella of Flemington, NJ; and a sister-in-law, Edna Sherry of Flemington, NJ.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place Tuesday at 10 a.m. in St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in St. Magdalen Cemetery, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be held Monday from 7-9 p.m. at the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
