F. Claire McLain Jayne, age 62 years, of New York City, NY died on September 2, 1970 at Central Islip Hospital, Long Island, NY.

Born in Flemington, NJ in 1908 she was the daughter of the late William McLain and Bessie Hanson.

She was a United States Navy veteran of World War II.

She then became a music teacher and music supervisor.

Claire was predeceased by her husband, Albert Jayne.

Interment was in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Capner Street, Flemington, NJ.
