Evelyn Young

Evelyn Young, age 86 years, of Allentown, PA, died on Thursday, November 6, 2008 in Valley Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Coopersburg, PA.

Born in New Jersey, February 5, 1922, daughter of the late Elmer and Hazel Weinhold, she had resided in Allentown for the past ten years, having formerly lived most of her life in Flemington, NJ.

Mrs. Young was a retired L.P.N., having worked for many years at Union Forge Nursing Home (now known as Rolling Hills Care Center), Clinton Township, NJ.

Her husband, Kenneth C. Young, died in 2001.

Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Connie and Paul Kern of Allentown, PA; two grandchildren, Victoria A. White of Hopewell, NJ and William White of Black Creek, NY; six great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
