Ethel M. Knight

Ethel M. Knight, age 86 years, of Lakewood, NJ, died on Wednesday, January 2, 2007 at her residence.

Born in Elizabeth, NJ, February 27, 1921, daughter of the late Henry and Lida Johnson Schmermund , she had formerly resided in Three Bridges, NJ and Pittstown, NJ.

A Homemaker, she was a member of the Clinton United Methodist Church, Clinton, NJ, where she served as a Stephens Minister.

A son, Robert H. Knight, died in 2001.

Surviving are her husband, Robert F. Knight; two daughters, Margaret A. Peterson of Flemington, NJ and Carol Ann Gautier of St. Petersburg, FL; a son, Thomas A. Knight of Nutley, NJ; eight grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in Rosedale Cemetery, Linden, NJ.
