Edmund Deveney, age 78 years, of North Brunswick, NJ, died on Wednesday, March 30, 2005 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge, NJ.
Born in Trenton, NJ, March 26, 1927 to the late Joseph and Irene Beck Deveney, he had resided in North Brunswick, NJ for many years.
Mr. Deveney was a retired truck driver for Biters Transport Company, Ewing Township, NJ. He served in the United States Marine Corps during World War II.
An avid hunter and fisherman, Mr. Deveney was a member of the National Rifle Association. He also participated in Rodeo's for many years, riding under the name "Nevada Smith."
Surviving are a sister, Elaine Pierman of East Amwell Township, NJ; and a brother, Donald D. Deveney of Hamilton Township, NJ.
