Born in Hunterdon County, NJ on January 22, 1904, he was the son of James Buchanan and Elizabeth Dallas.

Mr. Buchanan was employed by the Flemington Auction Market.

He was survived by his wife, Lorena (Anderson) Buchanan, of Flemington.

Interment in Locust Grove Cemetery, Quakertown, NJ.
