Born October 31, 1929 in Plainfield, NJ, she was the daughter of John and Anna (Bayma) McDonough. She was a former employee for NJ Bell Telephone Co., Dunellen, NJ.
She was survived by her husband, Stanley Wernicki.
Funeral services were held at St. Magdalen Church, Flemington, under the direction of Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, Flemington. Burial was in St. Bernard's Cemetery, Raritan, NJ.
