Born in Rosemont, NJ on November 11, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Anderson and Virginia Sherman.

She worked as the Manager at the Country Gift Shop in Flemington, NJ.

Doris was predeceased by her husband, Warren L. Norris, who died in 1980.
