Denise M. Szymanski, age 46 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Saturday, February 26, 2005 at her residence.
Born in Bellvue, PA, August 14, 1958 to Adele Golak Pauline of Naples, FL and John Lawrence Dorrier, Jr. of Butler, PA, she had resided in Raritan Township since 1993, having previously resided in Ewing Township, NJ, New Brunswick, NJ and Branchburg, NJ.
A 1976 graduate of Somerville High School, Mrs. Szymanski went on to receive her B.A. from Rutgers University. She was an Artist by expression. Additionally, she was formerly an administrative assistant with Bristol-Myers Squibb, New Brunswick and Princeton, NJ and also a Domestic Abuse Counselor at the Flemington Woman's Shelter, Flemington, NJ.
Mrs. Szymanski lived by the motto, "The Sky's The Limit." She was an active member of Habitat for Humanity, Somerville, NJ; an associate with Secretan Higher Ground Community; a former member of the Junior League of Princeton, NJ; was involved with Pet Therapy in the Manville, NJ School System; and was a Pet Trainer with St. Hubert's Giralda Animal Welfare Center, North Branch, NJ.
Surviving, in addition to her parents, are her husband of twelve years, Ronald J. Szymanski; a brother, John Lawrence Dorrier III of Las Vegas, NV; an aunt, Elaine Golak of Bristol, PA; and a niece, Samantha Dorrier of Las Vegas, NV.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 12 noon in Our Lady of Victories Church, Rt. 519, Baptistown, NJ under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
