David L. Merrell

David L. Merrell, age 50 years, of Gaithersburg, MD, died on March 14, 2005, in Gaithersburg.

Born in Flemington, NJ, he had resided in Gaithersburg for twenty years.

He was a grant administrator with the National Institute of Health, Bethesda, MD.

He was a 1972 graduate of Hunterdon Central High School, a graduate of Ursinus College, and he received his Masters from American University.

He is survived by his wife, Marita Madrid Merrell; a daughter, Maya Merrell of New York City, NY; two sons, Justin and Kevin Merrell at home; and his parents, Clarence and Esther Wilson Merrell of Raritan Township, NJ, and a brother, Raymond Merrell of West Caldwell, NJ.

Graveside services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant, NJ, under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
