Czeslaw (Chester) Szelest, age 82 years, of Brooklyn, NY, died on November 13, 2007, at his home.
Born in Poland, July 10, 1925, he had resided in Brooklyn, NY since 1952.
A truck mechanic with Mack Trucks, Maspeth, NY, he retired in 1990.
He was a British Army veteran of World War II.
His wife, Sheila Law Szelest, died in 2001. Surviving are a son, Edmund Szelest, of Hillsborough Township, NJ; a daughter, Victoria Szelest, of New York City, NY; and a sister in Poland.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday at 11 AM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Newell Cemetery, Stanton, NJ. There will be no calling hours.
