Clarence "Hap" Mcpherson

Clarence "Hap" McPherson, age 81 years, of Lebanon, NJ, died on February 20, 1999 at the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ. Born in Sand Brook, NJ on July 23, 1917, he was the son of the late John B. McPherson and Reba Pegg McPherson. Mr. McPherson was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army in Northern France and Central Europe from 1938-1945. He then worked as a Truck and Auto Mechanic for the Hunterdon County Road Department, Nemeth Motors in Flemington, NJ, and DeRemer's Garage in Glen Gardner, NJ, retiring in 1985. "Hap" is survived by his wife, Pearl (Swartley) McPherson, their children, grandchildren, and one great-grandson. Interment at Sand Brook Cemetery, Delaware Township, NJ.
