Born in Hunterdon County, NJ on January 25, 1888, he was the son of the late Samuel Britton and Amanda Smith.

Mr. Britton was formerly employed as office manager by the Foran Foundry in Flemington.

He was survived by his wife, Edna (Coates) Britton.

Interment in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Capner Street, Flemington, NJ.
