Born in Hunterdon County, NJ on August 5, 1879, he was the son of the late Gabriel Dalley and Catherine Dilts.
He was the retired clerk for Skillman Boro, NJ.
He was predeceased by his wife, Mary (Fennely) Dalley, who died in 1964.
Interment was in Readington Reformed Church Cemetery, Readington Road, Readington, NJ.
