Charles M. Burkett -- retired engineer

Charles M. Burkett, 65, of Oakhurst, N.J., formerly of Flemington,died Monday, Oct. 1, in his home. He was an electrical engineer at C-Com in Fort Monmouth, N.J.,retiring in 1995. Born Dec. 9, 1935, in Elizabeth, N.J., he was a son of the late John and Ethel Mills Burkett. He resided in Flemington, moving to Oakhurst in 1963. He was a 1954 graduate of Flemington High School and a graduate of Rutgers University. He is survived by his wife, two daughters and five grandchildren. His twin brother, John, died in 1984
