Charles E. Gaal, Jr.

Charles E. Gaal, Jr., age 84 years, of Readington Township, NJ, died on Tuesday, January 18, 2005 at his residence.

Born in Irvington, NJ, December 4, 1920, he was the son of the late Charles E. and Christina C. Gaal, Sr.

He had resided in Readington Township, NJ for the past forty-three years, having previously resided in North Plainfield, NJ.

He retired in 1981 from Western Electric (AT&T), Kearny, NJ, where he worked in the sheet metal division. He was a former member of the Three Bridges, NJ VFW Post. He was a United States Army Veteran of World War II, having served in the European Theatre and North Africa.

He is survived by his wife of fifty-nine years, Julia Grazzini Gaal; three daughters; Charlotte K. Gaal of Cherry Hill, NJ, Karen M. Henderson of Baltimore, MD, Denise L. Gaal of Peaks Island, ME; a son, Charles E. Gaal III of Waretown, NJ; a sister, Joyce E. Barrett, of Yorkville, IL; and five grandchildren: Braeden and Courtney Sanford, Shannon and Megan Cruse, and Alexander Orlofsky.
