Burdett Conkling

Burdett Conkling, age 77 years, of Flemington, NJ, died Tuesday, August 21, 1984 in Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township.

Born in Flemington, Mr. Conkling was a lifelong area resident and was a retired self-employed well driller.

He was a member and elder of the Flemington Presbyterian Church and a member of the Flemington Elks Lodge.

Surviving are his wife, Carolyn Sutphin Conkling; a daughter, Virginia Doremus Conkling of Ellenton, FL; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Funeral services were held at Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, Flemington. Interment was in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington.
