Ardis W. Cox, age 84 years, of Pattenburg, NJ, died on November 10, 1983 at the Stone Arch Health Care Center, Pittstown, NJ.

Born in Lynchburg, VA on January 12, 1899, she was the daughter of the late William Wingfield and Nannie Bob Elder.

She was a bookkeeper.

She was predeceased by her husband, Hebert Q. Cox, who died in 1975.

Interment in Spring Hill Cemetery, 3000 Fort Ave, Lynchburg, VA.
