Alice M. Cahalan

Alice M. Cahalan, age 93 years, of Raritan Township, NJ died on Sunday, May 30, 2004 at the Hunterdon Care Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born on May 12, 1911 in Jersey City, NJ to the late Francis and Margaret McMahon Clyde, she had resided in Raritan Township since 2004, having formerly resided in Flemington, NJ for ten years and in Milford, NJ prior to that.

She was a homemaker and a communicant of St. Magdalen Church, Flemington, NJ.

Her husband Frank J. Cahalan died in 1989. She is survived by three sons, John Cahalan of Allentown, PA, Frank Cahalan of Morristown, NJ and Kevin Cahalan of Flemington, NJ; and three daughters, Carole Kenny of Colonia, NJ, Sheila Griffin of Flemington, NJ and Helen Lentine of Flemington, NJ. Another daughter, Virginia Martine died in 1995. Also surviving are sixteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday at 10 a.m. in St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in St. Magdalen Cemetery, Flemington, NJ.
