Alice Estelle Everitt

December 2, 1930 — March 11, 2022

Alice Estelle Lambert Everitt, age 91, of Ringoes NJ, died Friday, March 11, 2022 at the farm where she lived with her husband Roger, the love of her life, since they were married on April 7, 1951.

She was the daughter of the late Frank and Marion Brewer Lambert of Sergeantsville NJ. Alice graduated from Lambertville High School in 1948 and was a bookkeeper for Hunterdon County National Bank until she and Roger began their family of four children.

Alice was actively involved in helping on their dairy farm, and did bookkeeping for the farm, their trucking company, ACRE Trucking, D&R Equipment, and later, Everitt Equipment.

She was a member of the United First Presbyterian Church of Amwell at Larison’s Corner, Ringoes NJ; an active member of the Amwell Valley Fire Company Auxiliary for over 70 years, and the East Amwell Senior Citizens.

A faithful Christian, Alice served as Sunday School Superintendent and Treasurer of the Corner Club at Larison’s Corner Church for over 50 years. She was famous to her family and friends for her chocolate chip and sugar cookies, and her delicious apple crisp. She always welcomed her guests with her homemade iced-tea and a smile. Alice was most proud of supporting Roger as founder of the Hunterdon County 4H Fair and enjoyed riding with him around the fairgrounds to greet many friends and visitors each year. She was the best wife, mother, grandmother and friend that God could have created.

Alice was predeceased by her brothers, Thomas Lambert and Orville Lambert, and her sisters, Doris Culberson, and Eva Emmons.

Surviving are her three daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy and Tom Kovacs of Little York NJ, Dianne and Larry Fleming of Sergeantsville NJ, and Patty and Bill Kurylo of Ringoes NJ; a son and daughter-in-law, David K. and Barri-Lynn Everitt of Ringoes NJ; seven grandchildren, Dan Fleming, Tim Kurylo, Gregory Kovacs, Jodi Reed, Aimee Barzona, Amanda Kovacs and Treacy Weeks; and seven great-grandchildren.
