Albert Quartel

Albert Quartel, age 79 years, of Kingwood Township, NJ died on Saturday, May 15, 2004 at Lehigh Valley Medical Center-Muhlenberg, Bethlehem Township, PA.

Born June 27, 1924 in Hazerswoude, Holland to the late Dirk and Yanny Hogewonig Quartel, he had resided in Kingwood Township for the past six years, previously residing in Princeton, NJ.

For over 40 years, Mr. Quartel owned and operated Quartel Nursery located in Princeton, NJ.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Reina W. (nee Geers); a son, Peter A. Quartel of Phillipsburg, NJ; three daughters, Jeannette Leach and Eleanor S. Braun, both of Kingwood Township, NJ and Ellen-Rose Locke of Lusby, MD; eight grandchildren; and three sisters in Holland.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday at 2 p.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in Rosemont Cemetery, Rosemont, NJ.
