FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP -- Adolf C. Bank, 91, died Thursday at his daughter's home in Franklin Township, Hunterdon County.
Born in Nuremberg, Germany, he was a longtime Linden resident and lived in Flemington three years before moving to Franklin Township last year.
A retired machinist, he worked with Air Reduction Corp., Union.
Son of the late Edwin and Katherine Strehl Bank, he is survived by his wife of 56 years, Anastasia Skaska Bank; a daughter, Anna Jones, with whom he lived; a grandson, Francis Jones of Carteret; and a sister, Adda Scheffer of Hamburg, Germany.
Graveside service will be 2:30 p.m. Monday at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main St., Flemington.

Adolf C. Bank, 91, of Franklin Township, Hunterdon County, died Thursday, March 14, in his home.
He was a machinist and worked for the Air Reduction Corp. in Union.
Born Feb. 7, 1911, in Nuremberg, Germany, he was a son of the late Edwin and Katherine Strehl Bank. He resided in Linden, N.J., and Flemington before moving to Franklin Township last year.
He and his wife, the former Anastasia Skaska, were married for 56 years.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Anna Jones of Franklin Township, with whom he resided; a sister, Adda Scheffer of Hamburg, Germany; and a grandson.
Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday in Prospect Hill Cemetery in Flemington. Call from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main St., Flemington.
