Obituary for Michele Faiman

Michele Faiman, age 75 years, of Jackson, NJ, passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2019 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick, NJ.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, August 16, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Isidore and Ida Goldberg Newman.

Surviving are her son, Jon Faiman, of Philadelphia, PA; her daughters, Linda Motta of Holland Township, NJ, and Lisa Ketcham of Toms River, NJ; a brother, Manny Bogen, of Staten Island, NY; her deceased sisters, Florence DeJessa and Laura Martinsen; her grandchildren: Demetrio Motta, Michele Motta, Christopher Tilton-Motta, and Taylor Ketcham; Loving niece, who was more like a sister to her, Hillary Hoffman and a nephew who she helped raise, Stuart Martinsen. Her husband, Richard Faiman, died in 1996.

Michele was a retired clerk with the United States Postal Service. After her retirement she became a part time travel agent and love to travel with her friends and family.

Michele was a devoted and loving mother with a large circle of friends. She was best known for her funny and witty sense of humor along with her gift of gab. She was someone who if you met would never forget. She will dearly be missed and always live on in our hearts.

A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date. Cremation was private under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
