Obituary for Judith Schneiderman

Judith Schneiderman died peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday January 3, 2018 in Columbus, Ohio.

A singer, mother, devoted wife, Häagen-Dazs lover and author of the book, 'I Sang to Survive,' Judith was born in Rachov, Czechoslovakia on August 22, 1928.

She survived the horrors of the Holocaust and moved to the United States in 1947. She and her husband Paul raised four children on their farm in Flemington, New Jersey. Paul passed away in 2013.

She is survived by those children—Norman, Mark, Helene and David; by her grandchildren—Jennifer, Harris, Erin, Ross, Liviya, Lara, Ericka, Lucy and Stella; and by her great-grandchildren—Emmett, Jax, Sebastian and Eloise.

Her funeral will take place on Sunday, January 7, 2017 at 10 am the Flemington Jewish Community Center (FJCC), 5 Sergeantsville Road, Flemington NJ. Burial will follow in the Flemington Jewish Community Cemetery in Flemington. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main St., Flemington NJ.

Shiva and Minyan service will be observed at 7:00 pm on Monday January 8 and Tuesday January 9, 2017 at the home of Mark Schneiderman, 38 Timberwick Drive, Flemington, NJ 08822.
